Week 10: Block 10 More Slip Stitch and Decrease Stitches
This week we'll investigate the SSK. A common left leaning decrease, we will learn this stitch while working on another lace panel with Yarn Overs. We will also go over the importance of blocking and lifelines again.
The Knitting Building Blocks Class is designed to help knitters navigate through major knitting skills, techniques, and principles, while creating 12 individual squares. Each of the 12 patterns focus on developing new skills in a sequential way, building upon the skills of the previous pattern, while giving new knitters more confidence and knowledge. Once the 12 squares are complete, you will learn to join them together to create an heirloom-worthy sampler afghan.
We will meet Sundays from 10:30am-12:30pm from January 6-March 31, 2019
Buy yarn/materials from Calypso In Color and class time will be $25/session. Bring your own materials, and pay $30/class session. Must buy Building Blocks Book by Michelle Hunter ($20).
